🚀 Jumpstart Your Career in a Thriving, Family-Owned Food Manufacturing Facility!

Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves tinkering with machinery and making things run smoothly? Do you want to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your skills are valued, and growth opportunities are real? If so, our family-owned food manufacturing plant in Racine, WI is the place for you!

We’re looking for a Junior Maintenance Technician to start strong on 1st shift for training and then step up into a leadership role on 2nd shift. This is your chance to level up your career, learn from experienced pros, and be an essential part of a tight-knit team.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

This is not a “stand-around-and-watch” kind of maintenance job. You’ll be hands-on, keeping our production lines running smoothly.

Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform scheduled PMs on production equipment like ovens, conveyors, sheeters, and packaging lines. This experience is required—we need someone who understands how PMs prevent breakdowns and keep things efficient.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Assist with basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, making sure our machines stay in top shape. Knowledge of PLCs is required—even basic familiarity will go a long way!

Food Manufacturing Equipment: Work with specialized food production machines in an industry that’s always growing. If you have food manufacturing experience, that’s a huge plus!

Safety & Compliance: Follow strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols to ensure a clean, food-safe production environment.

Documentation & Reporting: Keep clear and accurate maintenance records—we run a tight and organized ship!

Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, responding quickly to maintenance needs to keep production rolling.

Growth & Leadership: Train on 1st shift, and in about 8 weeks, you’ll take the lead on 2nd shift maintenance responsibilities.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you need to have mechanical know-how, a strong work ethic, and a drive to grow.

🔹 Experience: At least 6 months to 2 years in mechanical maintenance. PM experience is required.
🔹 PLC Knowledge: Must have some experience with PLCs—even at a basic level.
🔹 Food Manufacturing Experience: A huge plus, but not required.
🔹 Bilingual (Spanish/English): Strong Spanish skills highly preferred.
🔹 Availability: 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM), with occasional weekends as needed.
🔹 Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and be on your feet regularly.
🔹 Attitude: Someone eager to learn, grow, and step into leadership—we’re looking for go-getters who want more than just a job.
