Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with experience in stone fabrication or a related field. In this role, you will set up, program, and operate CNC machines to create exquisite stone products while ensuring absolute accuracy to minimize material waste. Precision is key, as the materials are often unique and expensive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and polish natural and man-made stone.
- Accuracy and Precision: Ensure 100% accuracy in entries and outputs to prevent errors that could result in wasted materials.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces to verify they meet detailed design specifications and aesthetic standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of CNC machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Work closely with production and design teams to translate technical drawings and CAD files into finished products.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment or programming to maintain consistent workflow.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 3 years of CNC machine operation experience; experience in stone fabrication is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Detail-Oriented: Proven track record of precision and accuracy in machining, with an appreciation for high-value materials.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine or programming issues efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
