Job Title: Maintenance Technician – CNC Machine Room

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join the Machine Room team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and other industrial equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency. This role is a critical part of the production team, requiring a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and a commitment to minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Conduct diagnostics to identify root causes of machine malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address equipment performance concerns.
- Replace and repair components such as pumps, valves, sensors, and wiring.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and controls.
- Basic understanding of CNC machinery maintenance (training can be provided).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and work at varying heights as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
